I will try to have the giveaway posted on the first of each month. Since January is rapidly drawing to a close I knew I had to get this posted NOW. And this January 'giveaway' is going to more of a challenge anyway. Are you ready?

There is no deadline for this challenge. If you do happen to find these lip glosses and want to participate, contact me through the handy dandy new Contact Me button that I've added in the sidebar. I will swap up to three bars of soap to the first person who succeeds in finding these little buggers. If you send one shade, you can pick one bar. Send two shades, pick two bars. Send all three, pick three bars. That part is totally up to you.
Bodycology products can be found in many common stores like Walmart, Target, Kmart, Walgreens, etc. I live in south-central Wisconsin and I can NOT find these lip glosses anywhere. But I do know they ARE out there. Maybe you'll have more luck!
This challenge begins . . . NOW.
***UPDATE - Jan. 26***
Bodycology answered my question on their Facebook page, saying these "are available in select Walmart stores." Hmm, well, I'll have to check the Walmart that I rarely ever get to in another nearby city. The challenge is still on though!

Sweet! You are too generous Deb. But I guess you really want those little guys.
ReplyDeleteIf you are into lip stuff, I heard Silk Naturals has quality lip products. I haven't ordered any but would like to try some of them.
No, I'm not really into lip products. But since I've been all about Bodycology lately, and since I just can't find these, it's making me want them. LOL

I see why you chose the word 'challenge'. Walmart's and Target's websites don't have it listed so I can't find the closest store with it in inventory. Btw, I saw a 3 pack on eBay for $15 with free shipping if no one succeeds at the challenge.
ReplyDeleteI saw that on eBay. Almost bought it too! lol

I haven't seen these but I was wondering if they have Parabens in them? I'm slowly trying more natural body/beauty products.
ReplyDeleteHeather - I found a picture of the ingredients listing here: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-lLDbtY5mNmc/TrRFLaIhQOI/AAAAAAAAMdE/UaoVZUdBMaY/s640/020.JPG
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of scary looking words in there but I don't see parabens.
If you're looking for natural, have you checked the Burt's Bees line? Or the Yes To Carrots line? There are a couple other fairly popular ones too that I can't think of at the moment. Or, of course, you can finds tons of natural vendors on Etsy. :)

Cool idea for a giveaway :) Good way to try to get yer stuff you want.
ReplyDeleteI might remove this post because obviously these things don't really exist. One thing I don't like about Bodycology is that they are inconsistent. As I've mentioned, their website is incomplete and behind. Some questions they answer, some they don't. If these lip glosses are only out in some test markets, fine, but at least tell us that. What's the big secrecy deal?
ReplyDeleteAnd it makes me cranky that I'm stubbornly obsessed with getting some because I don't even wear lip gloss! LOL
~Deb
Yeah, that part is pretty funny to me!
ReplyDeleteWatch, I'll go to our Walmart and they'll be displayed on an end cap. (I'm not going today--don't get excited.)
